To explain: Brltty used to start the API server at startup. This allowed Orca to connect before the braille device was connected, which, in turn, would prevent Orca from interacting correctly with the braille driver since, in that case, the size of the display wouldn't be known. The change delays the start of the API server until the braille device is connected. This should, in theory, resolve the problem unless Orca isn't retrying the connection.
