The important log is:

bn braille driver version 5.4 does not match expected version 5.0@5477

This means that you've compiled version 5.4 of the braille driver but are
trying to use it with version 5.0 of brltty itself. While this is just a
warning, it explains why things start to go wrong, and, therefore, why the
driver isn't successfully initializing.

>I ran it with following command -
>
>sudo brltty -bbn -d/dev/ttyUSB0 -n -e -ldebug,inpkts,outpkts,brldrv
>-L`pwd`/brl.log

It'd be better to specify the device the new way, which is: -dserial:ttyUSB0
