the circle of ONE under a specially illuminated skyline coordinated by Light Up
Miami
Supporters of ONE in Miami will join in a
demonstration of global solidarity and commitment to help the poorest people in
the world to overcome the struggle of extreme poverty and AIDS. Supporters and
local partner organizations will join in one voice and encourage our President
and all world leaders to direct one percent of their national budgets to help
our poorest nations.
The residents of Miami will come together, wearing white, joining other
national and international
cities, under a specially illuminated skyline that will spell out the
word ONE.
One by one our world has overcome past attacks
against humanity and one by one we can and we will abolish the growing threat of
AIDS and the atrocity of extreme poverty, once and for all.
The ONE campaign www.one.org is committed to rally Americans to
join with other countries in an historic pact for compassion and justice to help
the poorest people of the world overcome AIDS and extreme
poverty.
