SEDUCTION - SAT JULY 30th: Beginning with SEDUCTION and continuing with all of our larger upcoming events, we will begin incorporating elements of extreme positivity:
We are sending letters out to every area organization we can find - primarily political, environmental and harm reduction groups such as <http://dancesafe.org/>DanceSafe, <http://www.one.org/>ONE, <http://www.browardgreens.org/>Broward Greens, <http://www.antiwarbroward.org/>Broward Anti-War Coalition, <http://www.volbrow.org/>Volunteer Broward, <http://www.abettersouthflorida.org/>Citizens for a Better South Florida, <http://www.unitedwaybroward.org/>United Way of Broward County, <http://www.oceanwatch.org/>Ocean Watch Foundation, and the <http://www.fiper.org/>Florida Institute for Peace Education and Research. If they are interested and available, they are welcome to come to our events for free, and setup a booth or table so they can talk one-on-one with the people attending our parties. This will allow them to disseminate information about their organization's goals and motivations to a completely new segment of society, many of whom might never have otherwise heard about these groups. This is the first of many steps we will be taking to improve our future events. We feel that this will help to introduce a new level of positivity into the local electronic music scene. Our hope is that by helping to support groups outside of our scene, we will begin to effect the entire world around us - one step at a time. Many thanks to the author of "<http://blog.thetechgurus.net/?p=30>Does hope lie in South Florida's music scene?" for mentioning the Euphoria Project, and eternal thanks to the <http://www.lumonics.net/>Lumonics family, for their blueprint of caring and concern has given us the impetus to incorporate these changes into our events. If anyone has any suggestions of groups they'd like to see at our events - or if you represent an organization that you feel might benefit from additional exposure, please contact Mitchell Waas at 954-822-2043 or e-mail him at <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[EMAIL PROTECTED] Thank You!
