PERFORMER BIOGRAPHIES:

performers: please e-mail your bio ASAP to have it included /a>

{{ DAGGER vs NICK WICKED }}

Two of the Euphoria Project's oldest supporters, these masters of the electro world come together to unleash raw molten fury upon your eardrums. DJ Dagger, eight year veteran of the South Florida scene, has played at many of South Florida's most prestigious events, including Ultra Music Festival 2004, EarthDance Miami, and almost every major Euphoria Project event since the very beginning. Nick Wicked, an infamous dj known for the skill and passion of his mixing, often incorporates an oldschool flavor into his sets due to his years as a hip hop DJ. Now rapidly gaining ground as a producer, this man is poised for greatness, as he constantly shows his love and support throughout South Florida's electro community. When these two musical leviathans e paired up, the earth itself weeps in fearful anticipation of the potential chaos. Don't miss their ninety minute headlining set, an official first-time pairing at a Euphoria Project event.

{{ EVIL ETIQUETTE }}

A musician since the age of ten, and an aficionado of drum & bass since its very inception, Evil Etiquette played his first show as a DJ in 1997 alongside Beatcamp alumni Marco, Grrl13, Day, and Tea Farmer. This brought forth the insatiable urge to produce, and in 1998 Evil Etiquette created "Lost Children" with friend Otto Von Schirach. After taking a break from the scene to perfect his own sound, he returned in 2000, playing only the sickest, most unique beats around. After playing countless shows and producing dozens of original tracks, Evil Etiquette decided to start up his own label called [Dreadful Etiquette], which is currently in the process of mastering all of his original material for release courtesy [Elements Of Style]. Evil Etiquette's future truly looks bright, as there aren't many people in the U.S. who have the guts to attempt this kind of hardcore Drum & Bass - made popular by such artists as Panacea and Alec Empire. There is surely a scene for Evil Etiquette and Dreadful Etiquette Productions out there - it just hasn't been made yet...

{{ JASON WHEELER }}

Relatively new to South Florida's breakbeat community, Jason Wheeler has been spinning for the past two years, gradually honing his craft by playing out at house parties, park parties and other small underground events. With recent gigs for Uplift AM at the Plantation Inn and Lush Nightclub, he has been gaining experience in front of crowds, and feels that he is ready to take his career to the next level. This will be Jason's first appearance at a Euphoria Project event, after a cancelled booking at our event "Sounds of the Underground" (due to Hurricane Wilma), we now gi him a second shot, opening our electro/breaks room with a nice extended eighty minute set. Be sure you check out his set; show him your support and help build a better future for our scene.

{{ JOEY VELEZ }}

Spinning tunes since 1999, with an extensive career in his former home Puerto Rico, Joey Velez recently relocated to Miami, and is trying to get things moving here in the South Florida scene. With boundless talent, ambition, creativity and passion, he longs to play his signature trance sound in front of massive Florida crowds, just as he did at dozens of raves back in P.R. Check out the incredible music and vibrant sounds as dj Joey Velez puts our sound system thru it's paces. Once you've heard him throw down one time, you'll be asking to hear him again. And again.

{{ LOVE-SUB [LIVE PA] }}

Love-Sub came together when Tobi Love and subGEN wanted to create a new type of live electronic experience. Tobi Love, raised during the early rave scene in Ireland, studied at the prestigious London College of Music, and moved to the States in order to attend the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. From there she was hired by Bongiovi Entertainment; enigmatic and instrumental producer Tony Bongiovi (Motown/Columbia) and Jonathan Wright (Christopher/Mystery), and became part of the production team for "DEEP-SIDE", Bongiovi's Urban R&B and Hip Hop mega-release (now produced by R Kelly). While working under their guidance, she put the commercial sound she had learned to work in a darker, dancier style. It's this "big" sound that led her to found the iconic South Florida group "Indigo Children" with producer/dj Chris Beats. After a one year sojourn in Orlando perfecting her progressive/nu skool style, she returned to Miami to work with breakbeat producer subGENRE. Over the years, Tobi has worked with Joe Perry of Aerosmith, mastered records or the iconic group "Thundertrain", is known as one of the music industry's top up and coming producers, and was named a "Top Pick for Weekend Entertainment" by the Miami Herald.

subGENRE, a South Florida native and self-proclaimed dj booth crasher, grew up breakdancing to the likes of Baby Anne and Rabbit In The Moon at multitudes of South Florida raves. Take a 70's war baby and give him piano lessons at age 10, a Run DMC record at age 13, add some rock, jazz, salsa, and even a country band stint, along with a healthy three year dosage of music theory to top it all off, and you get subGENRE. Playing bass and singing, he takes on the breakbeat world with his melodic weaving of pretty pianos, acoustic guitars, and ultra dark bass lines. Tobi Love's dark hard breaks style with a grungy rock edge, and subGENRE's pretty, dark and deep instrumentals make this group quite the irony. Together, they are "Love-Sub". Regarding their style, think of local favorites "Devine and EmilyPLAY" with an uptempo trip h sound, add progressive rock elements and a tribal backbeat, and you've got Love-Sub. With a recent headlining event at Lumonics and numerous live gigs at South Beach radio station The Womb, Love-Sub is a multi-genre artist's collective that is truly poised for greatness.

{{ MITCH WAAS }}

CEO and founder of the Euphoria Project, Mitch Waas has played a significant role in the expansion of South Florida's underground rave scene. A true music lover and extremely avid music collector, Mitch's roots are in 60s and 70s progressive and psychedelic rock, funk, soul and jazz. In the 80s he developed a passion for art rock, progressive metal, new wave and synthpop. Falling in love with the futuristic electronic instrumentation many of these groups incorporated, this fascination progressed into a love of mid-80s techno/industrial groups Skinny Puppy, Front 242, and Lords Of Acid. As European industrial progressed and morphed into techno, he found h true musical love in the early rave scene. Starting with small underground events and warehouse parties in 1987, he eventually became a devotee of early South Beach venues The Kitchen Club and The Institute. The years 1990-1994 found his passion increasing exponentially as he witnessed live performances from groups like Meat Beat Manifesto, Orbital, 808 State, Renegade Soundwave, The Orb and A Split-Second.

Unfortunately, he was pressured to quit living such a "frivolous" lifestyle and instead concentrate on his fledgling career of computer tech support. After six disheartening years pursuing a job for which he had great skill but absolutely no passion, he once again began dreaming of the rave scene. Finding the YahooGroup known as SFL-8up at the end of 2000, he began lurking, and eventually rediscovered his passion at events like Cosmic Vibes and Nickel Bag of Funk, while venues such as Lumonics provided him with boundless inspiration. Since starting up the Euphoria Project in March 2001, it's been slow and steady upward progression of throwing events and helping to improve the scene one step at a time. While working from home to help promote his business, Mitch eventually learned the program MixMeister Pro, enabling him to create mix CDs as varied and rich as his musical roots. He has since created five complete mix sets (and three unmixed compilations), peaking so far with 2004's CD entitled "Future Perfect", an extremely dense multi-genre audio collage, which intersperses electronic dance tracks with dozens of audio samples to help paint a picture of the potential future of our world. This performance will showcase a few remixes from the Future Perfect mix, along with several tracks from his "Back to the Oldskool" live set, along with the typical inclusion of dozens of unusual samples and audio effects. He will also be handing out several copies of recent live mixes, so be sure you come check out this performance, sure to be a great start to a fantastic evening.

< {{ PITUKO }}

Paul Jove, aka ''Pituko" (Bolivia - Amanda's Dreamscape / Nepol Records) is going on more than 15 years of experience as a musician by collaborating and performing with other artists since the early 90's in La Paz, Bolivia as well as a bit in St Louis, MO. He plays a key role in what is now Amanda's Dreamscape music and events. As a DJ, his style incorporates many forms of the dance music genre; inspired by the ever so spiritual journeys of psychedelic trance, his set is sure to include phunk-psy bassin beats with the Andean air to twirl the dancefloor and feed off the heartbeats of the people connected. His music mixing has gotten him gigs at sub/underground parties as well as posh clubs in both St Louis & Bolivia; most recently he performed at this year's EarthDance (Bolivia, www.psyworks.org), Geologic estival (USA, www.chilluminati.org), Intact Instict (Bolivia, www.neurotrance.org) & dates for Uruguay, Colombia, and Chile in 2006 are already confirmed. He is currently working on the second album with Amanda's Dreamscape; also continues as a programmer for radio program: Global Electronic (once on 88.1 FM www.kdhx.org) in Bolivia on Laser 98 FM (2006). As an active club dj, he holds monthly residencies at Upstairs Lounge (USA, www.nepolrecords.com) & Traffic/Vertigo (Bolivia). Currently he resides mostly in South America - for more info + contact: www.amandasdreamscape.com

{{ RED COMMI BASTARD }}

Born in Russia and corrupted by America, Igor ogatov (aka Red Commi Bastard) grew up in the former USSR and relocated to the U.S. in the mid 90's. He has been actively involved in the scene since 1990, having attended some of the earliest European and Russian raves. Falling in love with the sounds of early techno and hardcore, he decided to try his hand at DJing in 1995. Since then, he has played at hundreds of events, ranging from small underground gatherings to massives of 15,000+ people. He has had the privilege to play alongside such talents as T-1000, Adam Beyer, Anabolic Frolic, Mike Dearborn, Frankie Bones, David Hollands, Alexi Delano, Nigel Richards, Dj Dan, Richard Humpty Vision, Donald Glaude, DRC, DJ SS, Barbara Tucker and many more.

From snowy New Year's Eve blizzards in Manhattan to the sweltering heat of Southern California deserts; from industrial warehouses in Detroit to the open fields of the Blue Ridge Mountains, wherever his DJing journey has taken him, he always brought with him dark, hard, pounding beats of techno with a t ch of tribal, UK hardhouse and hardcore. Known for his raw, aggressive mixing and impressive EQ and crossfader manipulations, don't be surprised when he throws in a couple of old school rave anthem tracks from the early days of the European rave movement: true gems of his extensive record collection. In the late 90's Igor became heavily involved with party production and promotion, and after taking some time off he is back in action and working on his own tracks. Although his music is definately not intended for people with existing heart conditions, neck or back injuries, nor pregnant women and children, Igor has always managed to remain faithful to the truest ideals of PLUR. Come witness this true veteran of the GLOBAL rave scene, and get an education while dancing your ass off!

{{ SUB-BASS SPECIALIST [LIVE PA] }}

As you listen to the sounds of The Sub Bass Specialist, you can't help but hit the dance floor in the most extreme way poss le. No light and floaty tunes here, these tunes are jam-packed with the most psychedelic bass-pounding bleeps and bloops in the known universe. Having partied at Ft. Lauderdale's "The Edge" since back in '95, the tracks definately have an old school sound, tweaked out with some new school hype. "We don't get high, we get down!!"
