Going back through the e-mail, the issue was displaying the list of
*capabilities* in tabular format. The list could be too long to fit in
80 columns unless drastic (and obfuscating, IMO) changes like this were
made.
In retrospect, I think any attempt to make the tabular format
"parseable" is misguided, and what should have been done instead is to
list multiple rows, one for each "capability".
It may be worth revisiting this -- but I know Sowmini has bruises from
the last round of debates that she'd probably rather let finish healing
before starting another round. :-)
