Is there a better word that can be used then, or some way to define 
"Advertised" in the GUI? Many people (most?) won't be sure of this, and 
if the meaning can change with different capabilities (like Power 
Management), then it becomes not only confusing, but seemingly inconsistent.

Yes, I understand and sympathize, but perhaps other models should be 
examined (dreamed up?). This part of the interface is really clumsy, and 
detracts from the rest of the GUI. Unfortunately, I don't have any good 
suggestions off-hand. I think part of the problem is not just the sheer 
number of properties, but that combined with the varying number of 
settings per property. Perhaps splitting them up by the types of 
properties? Selecting the groupings may be a subjective exercise, however.

Which means you're swapping back and forth between two tabs? Also very 
awkward.

Yes, that would definitely be preferred. It seems like it may not be 
possible to do this cleanly. :-(
