Interesting question, but misleading in several ways.

For the first, by your standard, everyone starts as a high-tech,
since the equipment for the first brew necessarily outweighs the 
raw materials. And most everyone ends up on the dogme side of the line, 
if they only continue brewing long enough...

I would not classify Carlsberg as very dogmatic brewer, although I am
sure they have used quite much materials - even if you consider the
investemnts in factories and the obviously low amount of materials they
put in their regular pilsner...  On which side do you count marketing?

For the second, brewing is like any other hobby - it takes all available
time and all available money, and them some.

Besides, it is hard to know, every time I get stuff from Brygladen,
there is both materials and equipment involved. At least I do not keep
exact books on the costs - is that a third category, the
accountant-brewer??
