I will not stop you from making such a forum. I will just say two things: 1) I will keep using the mailing list as long as it exists and has some activity on it. I am sick and tired of every website trying to build a discussion forum, too often they never take off. I think it is waste of time to go and check this, that, and a third forum just to see if there happens to be one new posting that sounds interesting. 2) Because of my personal opinion of such web forums, I see no reason to invest time and energy in setting it it up. if someone else wants to, feel free. But find your own machines to run on. I find e-mail lists good and flexible way to have these discussions, especially with modern mail filtering tools.
