I guess it depends most on the method of cooling. I still dump my pot in
a bucket of cold water. Before I do that, I give it a good swirl. That
way most of the trub settles in the middle. When I dump it in the
fermentation bucket, I leave the worst behind. Lots of it gets in
anyway, and seems to do no harm...
