This must be one of the most common questions asked on this list. Yes,
it can indeed be right, and the faster start, the better! Although the
FG may not go much lower, let it rest for a few more days, just to be
sure. There are still many things happening in the beer, although it
looks quiet.
besides, one blob in 3 seconds is not that wild. Wild is when the blobs
go so quickly that you can't count them, about 10 a second. The bucket
snores like a drunkard, spits dark foam out of the airlock and of every
little opening, fills the airlock with foam, trub, and hops until it
clogs, and then shoots the lock and everything in the air. That starts
to be wild fermentation... It is all to the good, up to the point where
it starts breaking its way out of the bucket, attacking children and
pets, and demanding more sugars.
