Nu "Bobler" det overhovedet ikke mere og gærlaget som der var ovenpå er
forsvundet. Er dette normalt efter en 4-5 dage gæring? Troede at gærlaget
blev der på så det beskyttede det dejlige øl..

Det eneste jeg ikke forstår nu er, at brygspanden ikke længere bobler
som den gjorde i starten (derr er gået 2 dage)..Den bobler næsten
overhovedet ikke, så det hele ser lidt dødt ud. Er det bare mig der er
totalt overspændt og skal have noget mere tålmodighed?? eller hvad kan

This must be the most commonly asked question on this list. Yes, all is
well. The faster the fermentation starts, the more violently it gets
going, the better it is. It also means that the violent phase ends
sooner, and you just have to wait for the magic to happen.
If you plan to rake the beer over to a secondary fermenter, you can do
it any time between now and a week or two from now. Then you can safely
wait a few more weeks.
In any case, you should wait at least a week before you even think of
bottling the beer. When you start to think about it, measure the FG,
wait a few days, and measure again. If it is still dropping, wait a few
more days, and measure again.
After the hectic brewing day, it may be difficult to muster enough
patience to wait for the fermentation, especially if you don't have any
beer at hand to calm your nerves...
