Sure you can. But if you try to follow a recipe that gives amounts for dried
peels, remember that the fresh ones contain some water, and are therefore
heavier. So you may need to use some more.
And remember to use unprocessed peels, and avoid the white part of it. Then
I'm sure it will be
beer anyway
