Dr. Richard Matthew Stallman (http://stallman.org/) will be giving a public lecture in National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh on the 25th of October, 2006. The proposed topic for the talk is "Free Software, Free Society". This would take place immediately after Dr. Stallman is done with his talk in the Air Jaldi Summit (http://summit.airjaldi.com) in Dharamsala.
There is no entry fee for attending the lecture. Everyone is invited. Anybody willing or able to make the trip are encouraged to drop in.
