One way to do that is to let the company you for work know that you
can get OpenBSD + PF or pfSense set up securely as firewall. Or
OpenBSD + spamd or any other free and secure combinations :-)

Once your company know that they can add it as a plus package for the
projects they get from clients and send you across.

For example many "not so big companies" even in U.K or U.S needs to
secure their networks and mail servers and would like to avoid huge
costs of CISCO/or other propreitery devices.

So they might be approaching you for .net/web/mobile application
development or some thing that has nothing to do with BSD. But you
could talk to them about security especially if the software you make
for them is accessible from the web and put across this Idea.

most of them should fall for it. One condition would be that they need
a Decent GUI to administer it or they would want you to administer it
remotely for them like applying patches etc.

Hope this helps :-)

kind regards

Siju
