Sorry but I'm confuse. Did you mean Zero has been merged into JDK 7 or JDK 8 ? There was discussion on bsd-port (and macosx-port) list about supporting PowerPC on these builds (for previous PPC based Mac) and it seems there is something broken now on the Zero side preventing to use it on bsd-port (and sus macosx-port).
