[I am not picking on this patch.] Apple merged this branch to main line, then replaced a lot of '#ifdef _ALLBSD_SOURCE' with '#ifdef MACOSX', moved *our* BSD-specific files to their own directories, etc. This branch is slowly drifting away from the main line and I don't think Apple (or anybody) is interested in merging any new patches from this branch *for* us.
