Thanks for your offer. Web to the Wiki site
http://wiki.bsdcertificationgroup.org/bsdcert/Translations
and create an account. Then create a page for your language if needed
(there might be one there already), copy the English files, and
start translating.
Instructions:
- Encoding is UTF-8. Set your browser to UTF-8 to check.
- Don't translate HTML tags.
- There are some field separators and keywords in some of the texts that
you should not translate:
"break|none|break|none"
"...|none|yes|none"
"...|none|text|none"
"...|none|essay"
"...|none|radio|..."
"...|none|check|..."
"...|none|dropdown|..."
Anything that looks like one of these separators and keywords should not be
translated.
- On the last page (f995_lastpg), there are questions and answer choices
mixed in
together. The answer choices are separated by colons ':'. It's important
that
the colons be left in place. The colons also function as field separators.
Here are couple of real examples:

colon ':' separators alone.
- The file s_parms is a perl module. Only translate the text
in between double quotes '"' leaving variable names alone.
Also, do not translate any HTML in this file.
- The file BSDCertSurvey01.html is an HTML page. The translation
can be done in an HTML editor if desired, or just as straight text.
The link at the bottom, www.bsdcertification.org, must not be
translated.
- It's really helpful if each translated statement is on one complete line and
not
'word wrapped'. The exception to this is the long list of country names on
the first page. They can wrap around. See the Chinese files for good
formatting.
- To check your work, click the 'More Actions' dropdown and select 'Show Raw
Text'.
If you see one line per statement, that's correct. (Note- the extra line
at the top, "#format plain" is OK).
Have a look at the other translations for some guidance and be sure to drop
Patrick Tracanelli an email.
