We're incorporating last minute suggestions and converting the roadmap from OO2 source to other formats. We will have them available on the translation twiki as early as possible tomorrow. We'll also upload a copy of the press release so interested translation teams will have that as well.

why don't we use as default LaTeX? you can easiely split a document in multiple files and put them together when you compile it... even with formats (DIN-A4, US-Letter) should be no problem.

Hi Mirko,

Doesn't look like you've ever received an answer on this.

At the moment we use OpenOffice 2 for the major projects requiring charts and graphs as it allows us to easily convert to PDF (with embedded URL support), convert to many other formats and it is very easy to create charts and graphs without having to learn any formatting tags.

We are also streamlining the process for getting the major documents to the translation teams _prior_ to publication so they have time to translate. I'm open to constructive gripes on where this process is breaking down, especially if they are accompanied by suggestions on how to make life easier for the document creators (who are under very tight schedules) and the translation teams.
