Dear, I am experiencing a problem using the current version of BSDRP, I am joining an IXP where a quarantine period is required for tests where all tests except the learning of mac adrress does not pass the test in case I verified that the BSDRP does not learn beyond 500 mac address where in the quarantine test a minimum of 2048 mac address is needed where we would guarantee a smooth operation in IXSP on various equipment such as mikrotik, huawei and even linux, adjustments are necessary so that the router can learn the stipulated amount of mac address. My question is ? in fact it needs some adjustment in the BSDRP in researches I verified Freebsd users who were joining some IXP who needed to make adjustments like the ones below:
modifying the file sys / net / if_llatbl.h in the line containing: #define LLTBL_HASHTBL_SIZE 32 / * default 32 ? * / changing the value to 512. this in version 9 of freebsd where in BSRDP in search using the command finde I didn't find anything like that. another recommendation would be to change sysctl net.inet.icmp.icmplim = 2048 in my case it did not solve and I understand that the sysctl in question would be for quantity of icmp requests. Has anyone been through a similar situation? I have been fighting with my transport provider where I asked him about some arp limitation on their side where they checked and said that he does not have the limitation and that other customers do not have the complaint in question. I would be grateful if anyone can help. Thanks.
