I would like to incorporate the suggested changes to the script engines,
if no one on bsf-dev objects.
This would be done one by one (i.e., each change will be commited
individually such that we can easily back out, if it becomes necessary).

P.S.: Of course, I would need some means to have such changes reflected
in the tracker system, such that people can learn there that their RFEs
got taken care of.
