There are several locations. The project will be non-speaking non-paying parts but we will provide a DVD copy of the footage for their reel. The actor’s will be responsible for their own make-up, hair and attire. This is a time period piece and the looks must represent 1976-1978.

Miami - Film, “Blue Light” - December 10, 2005

Award winning filmmaking team of Fandango Pictures is holding auditions On Saturday, December 10th between 2 and 5 pm at the Cinemateque in South Beach.

The Blue Light is a heartwarming short film and is about how a little girl and her dad deal with tragedy. He hits the bottle and she escapes into an imaginary world, which she eventually drags her dad into.

We are casting three roles:
Jenny - aged 6 to 10. She will carry the picture with “Dad” who’s already cast (Derek Latta).
Nora - aged 20s to 30s Jenny’s young mother.
Jen - aged late teens to 20s.

We are also looking for following crewmembers:
- animator to make a short 2d or 3d animation about 30 seconds long.
- dp (to properly light sets)
- visual effects supervisor

Everyone will be well fed and gain exposure in the film festival route and of course will receive copies of the DVD.

Deerfield - Picon Pie (theater) - December 31, 2005

Woman, 50’s, need Yiddish

Orchard Street Productions is now casting for an understudy/replacement for the role of Molly Picon in their musical production of Picon Pie currently running at The Manhattan Dinner Theatre in Deerfield Beach, FL.

We are looking for an extremely strong 50ish actress who can sing well and perform Yiddish songs. This is a very demanding leading role.

Non-equity is preferred, but Equity actresses may be considered. Must be available for up to 7 shows per week
(matinees Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday and evening shows Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) starting in mid January and most likely all of February.

Those with ears let them hear.
