City of Miami Film Office Announces Layoffs...
In the midst of one of the worst budget years in memory, the City of Miami
Film and Cultural Affairs Office will layoff 2 long-time staff members
effective October 1st. City of Miami administrators made the budget
recommendation to the City Commission in an effort to help close a $100
million shortfall in its next fiscal year budget, which begins in October.
Commissioners passed the budget on September 29th.
