Hi Josh, Is there a v5? I though the latest was v4.99.7?
1 more question. Let's say I have these schemas now HQ - 300 tables Branch - 300 tables For the start, both HQ and branch have the same database schemas (identical 300 tables). If one day I plan to add 10 more tables to HQ e.g. HQ - 310 tables Branch - 300 tables Is it possible when I use bucardo to sync from HQ to Branch, it will auto create the missing 10 tables for Branch? Any help? Thanks. > Date: Wed, 21 Aug 2013 08:42:45 -0600 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > CC: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Bucardo-general] Can bucardo do this? > > On Wed, Aug 21, 2013 at 01:19:28AM +0000, eric machine wrote: > > Basically branch can only sync to HQ, not the other way around > > Sure, Bucardo is fine for that. > > > If I sync, can I exclude any tables or even specific conditions per > > table? > > You can tell Bucardo to ignore certain tables, and you can use what's called a > "customselect" to replicate only certain records from a particular table. > > > The problem with rubyreps, some tables have table constraints will > > cause issue.
