Sounds interesting. If any of you guys over there could video tape and share
over youtube.com, it would be great. Otherwise, I will try to get an
opportunity to visit Indonesia again, yes perhaps Jakarta and Bogor. I was
in Semarang with Margaret, Tim and Wee Cheng the last thing, thanks to
arrangement by Ardian Xiong.

The part on the Suluk is interesting. Not sure if we have it in Singapore.
Will try to explore more on that.

On the presentation of the Hai Li (doll on plate with lots of sweets and
oranges) by the potehi troupe to the temple at the start and before the end
of the day is similar to Singapore.

Do you have a list of all the potehi and names/contacts in Indonesia? I am
hoping that perhaps, we could compile a list for Nanyang. (^^) Carol of
Taoism-Singapore list has come up with a blog on marionette theatre and is
working on a similar idea.
