Title:
purge of network manager side effects

Status in budgie-remix:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  After purge of network manager:
  - terminix is no longer the default
  - terminix throws warning about config issue, offers link that does not work
  - icon theme is changed

The documentation for 'purge' says that the target application's
  config files are removed.

If the implementation of purge for network manager is correct, then
the configuration of network manager is held in files with
  inappropriately broad scope.
