Hi Blake,

as much as I care for IBM APL2 compatibility, having variables surviving )CLEAR
sounds bad to me. My expectation on )CLEAR would be that it brings the workspace
into a well defined state (and all variables defined in the ISO standard sre required to
do that).

Having a workspace that requires another workspace to be run beforehand does not
quite look like a recommendable programming style.

All of the above lines were typed within a few minutes of each other, i.e. the same hour.
