Hi Xtian, I have added a workspace called sudoku_DLX to our Bits_and_Pieces directory. It uses ⎕DLX and the constraints matrix from http://www.stolaf.edu/people/hansonr/sudoku/exactcovermatrix.htm. I am still a bit puzzled if the 'field' constraints are really needed, but it seems like they don't hurt. /// Jürgen
