Hi, I suppose 'real APL; does not mean apl2. If I may quote you (Feb. 5, 2017): "is this apl2 (which was ibm's second failed attempt to push apl) or gnuapl?" What I don't quite understand is this: if you were so happy with your "real apl" for 46 years, why are you using GNU APL then? It was clear from day 1 that GNU APL will be an apl2 interpreter and not an apl interpreter. And that I, like it not not, consider IBM compatibility as a rather valuable property.
