That's the mail. 6:55 PM CEST (+0200) in Europe is 11:55 AM CDT (−0500)
in America.

I don't know Thunderbird to help diagnosing what the problem is,
but now it worked correctly.  When it doesn't, you're sending it
encrypted to two keys: to yourself using key 0x09CFE9930857AB29,
and to some other key with ID 0xF16D2E4D4E060D96.

I don't know whose key this is, but maybe it automatically turns the
encryption on depending on who are you replying to?
