Hello Ralf, (sorry for the late reply, I was on holiday) good to here that you still support XEmacs :-) I solved most of the problem, did several things, hence, it is hard to now which step was helpful, but my explanation is at the moment the following: some files and directories of my latex document had not the proper write access.
But one problem still exist: > Autoload error in: c:\Program > Files\XEmacs\xemacs-packages\lisp\semantic\auto-autoloads: > Symbol's function definition is void: define-overload The version of my "semantic.el" is: v 1.201 2007/06/06 (downloaded from the Finish XEmacs Update server) As far as I know, this bug is already solved, but I'm not able to cure the problem on my PC. My XEmacs version is: version 21.4.22; January 2009 Regards, Stefan *** 2011/8/6 Ralf Angeli <[email protected]>: > [auctex list stripped from the list of recipients.] > > * Stefan Pofahl (2011-07-10) writes: > >> I have a strange phenomenon: >> The value of the variable "TeX-master" for my subdocuments is lost. > > What do you mean with it being lost?
