Another thing: The function LaTeX-indent-calculate returns -2 for
\end{document}. Maybe something like:
((looking-at (concat (regexp-quote TeX-esc) "\\("
LaTeX-end-regexp " *{\\("
LaTeX-document-regexp "\\)}\\)"))
(LaTeX-indent-calculate-last force-type)))
should be inserted.
And the LaTeX-document-regexp should be set to "document\\|letter".
