OK, I've read the documentation about prauctex.cfg. Note
that in my system, AucTeX's own prauctex.cfg is overridden
by MikTeX's prauctex.cfg, located in
C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9\tex\latex\preview\prauctex.cfg
Anyway, I've added \PreviewMacro*\enquote to
preview-default-preamble and it's working. Could this step
somehow be included in future AucTeX distribution?

Thank you David, I'll try to use a \PreviewMacro*\enquote to
solve the problem. BUT: note that inline math inside an
\emph or \text** environment previews perfectly aligned for
me. Is it because previews inserts those \PreviewMacro*
automatically for me?
