It is Vincent Goulet's "Emacs for Windows Modified" emacs-24.4-modified-2.exe
obtained from
  http://vgoulet.act.ulaval.ca/en/emacs/windows
According to the "what's new'', it was released on February 2nd, 2015 and
contained AUCTeX 11.88. However, this has been superseded by
emacs-24.4-modified-3.exe released April 1, 2015 to update ESS to 15.03.

Good that it's solved now. But what are you using for an emacs that ships with
an (outdated) version of AUCTeX? Aquamacs?

Bye,
