only one test is failing with Sun's sed, when the configure
substitutes many long values and the sed script is > 16 KiB.
You can hope that in practice the Sun sed will do its duties correctly.
(OTOH, I would always felt safer with GNU sed.)
I made a quick search on sun.com and found patch 120443; do you have
it installed?
