This is broken. The condition inside AT_XFAIL_IF is evaluated before
the test itself is run. In this case, just remove those 2 lines,
please, as the test should succeed always now, no?
For the general case, can this please be fixed in Autotest or at least
be clearly documented in the Autoconf manual?
Well, that is interesting, running the test at all is a bit of a
waste of time then :(
It does fail with the AT_XFAIL_IF removed (at least on darwin), one
static archive remains as a member of another. Still, it is an
improvement on two. I wanted to XFAIL it until I had the time to fix
it. Oh well. AT_XFAIL_IF([:]) or equivalent is still needed.
