-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 According to Eric Blake on 2/5/2008 9:13 PM: | According to Reuben Thomas on 2/5/2008 7:17 PM: | | (From 2.61 manual) | | | | "a simple heuristics" should be "a simple heuristic" | | Thanks for the report. However, this was already fixed several months ago: | http://git.sv.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=autoconf.git;a=commitdiff;h=db55e
And for those people still learning git, this is how I found it so quickly: git log -S'simple heuristic' -- doc then plugged in the id of the first commit into the usual gitweb address. ~ I shudder at how long the same query would have taken with CVS, particularly since it would have required network access for the entire hunt. Have I mentioned that I'm really enjoying git? - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
