Thanks for the report. However, this is lacking too many details for us to know what to do about it. What system is this on? Can you provide a sample configure.ac that demonstrates that the problem is in autoconf, as opposed to a particular package's improper use of the AC_FUNC_FSEEKO macro? After all, AC_FUNC_FSEEKO (which is documented as detecting ftello) sets _LARGEFILE_SOURCE on platforms where it is needed. - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
