Yep. Well, to build the git version you also need Automake and recent Autoconf installed; so maybe it's easier to just grab a 2.64 tarball <ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/autoconf/autoconf-2.64.tar.gz>, that way you won't need git nor autotools installed. Thanks, Ralf
