​This is due to "'.' is no longer in @INC", see
https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2016/08/msg00013.html​. It
looks like Autoconf needs to be updated for Perl changes.

I believe this was discussed here before as well. I thought this was fixed
already.​
