Yeah, I see it says "singular or plural", and I wouldn't complain much about
a plural use. Pedants on this side of the pond tend to prefer singular,
though, and I feel that the distinction can be used to good effect depending
on context: singular where there's an "each" feel and plural for an "all"
vibe.
