Hello.

Doing a dry run of moving to automake 1.14.1, I noticed the following
"improvements" in the generated Makefile.in:

The messages are swapped.  The warning for compress occurs on the
creation of the shar archive, and the warning on the shar archive
occurs on compression with compress.

Methinks someone was working too late at night... :-)
