I have observed a strange behaviour of GNU Barcode version 0.99. The tool generates a different barcode than expected. I use the following command: $ barcode -o 208007.ps -b "208007" -e upc-e I expect this to generate a UPC-E barcode that contains "208007". However as you can see in the attached ps file it generates a barcode containing "208073". I scanned this code with an Android app and an USB hand scanner. Both say it contains "208073". I used some website to generate an UPC-E barcode that contains "208007" correctly. I tested some barcodes in that neighborhood: Input Output 208000 correct 208001 correct 208002 correct 208003 correct 208004 wrong: 208003 208005 wrong: 208053 208006 wrong: 208063 208007 wrong: 208073 208008 wrong: 208083 208009 wrong: 208093 208010 correct 208011 correct 208012 correct This seem like a very specific bug.
