Thanks for the bug report.  If memory serves, this (and the other)
bugs are fixed in Bison 2.0, which you can get here:

ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/bison/bison-2.0.tar.gz

You might want to try the latest test version, which you can get here:

tp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/bison/bison-2.0b.tar.gz

In any case you should first install GNU m4 1.4.3, which you can get here:

ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/m4/m4-1.4.3.tar.gz
