I do not know if this is of any importance. I have tried to compile today's
bison sources on my linux system using the following tools:
automake (GNU automake) 1.9a
Written by Tom Tromey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
and Alexandre Duret-Lutz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.59c
Written by David J. MacKenzie and Akim Demaille.
and the target dist fails with the following error message:
NEWS not updated; not releasing
make: *** [distdir] Fehler 1
I have not tried to fix this. I have also not tried to compile with stock
automake and autoconf tools.
