cfexecd not sending emails

We recently upgraded our cfengine package on all our servers from 2.1.22 to 2.2.6 and ever since then we've noticed a weird problem. Randomly, cfexecd decides *not* to send an email with output. I can't reproduce the bug and have tried to double check the cfagent output to see if something odd was going on.

Now I realize that cfengine is setup so that it won't spam you if it sees the same message twice, but I know for a fact that this isn't the case. I was thinking about upgrading to 2.2.7 to see if it fixes the issue but I wanted to get feedback to see if its a known issue or if we need to adjust any of our settings.
