http://bugs.debian.org/352122 Mark ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: libcommoncpp2-dev: sha implementation missing (unresolved symbols) Date: Thursday 09 February 2006 20:55 From: Stephan A Suerken <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Debian Bug Tracking System <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Package: libcommoncpp2-dev Version: 1.3.22-1 Severity: normal Hi, while in (at least) the sarge version, there is a sha.cpp, (at least) this version lacks the file. The header "digest.h" however, still has the declarations. I.e., when using, for example, SHA1Digest from digest.h, this will always lead to linking errors. Either the declarations should be removed from the header also, or the implementation should be restored. Thanks, Stephan -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages libcommoncpp2-dev depends on: ii libcommoncpp2-1.3c2a 1.3.22-1 A GNU package for creating portabl libcommoncpp2-dev recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- Stephan A Suerken <suerken|[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Phone: +49.721.91347-393 Schlund + Partner AG, Karlsruhe -------------------------------------------------------
