After installation of coreutils-4.5.8, "man dircolors" says
The full documentation for dircolors is maintained as a
Texinfo manual. If the info and dircolors programs are
properly installed at your site, the command
info dircolors
should give you access to the complete manual.
However, no such manual is installed, and no dircolors.texi file
exists in the coreutils-4.5.8 distribution.
I haven't checked for similar inconsistency in the other
installed manual pages:
basename dircolors id od sleep true
cat dirname install paste sort tsort
chgrp du join pathchk split tty
chmod echo link pinky stat uname
chown env ln pr stty unexpand
chroot expand logname printenv su uniq
cksum expr ls printf sum unlink
comm factor md5sum ptx sync uptime
cp false mkdir pwd tac users
csplit fmt mkfifo readlink tail vdir
cut fold mknod rm tee wc
date groups mv rmdir test who
dd head nice seq touch whoami
df hostid nl sha1sum tr yes
dir hostname nohup shred
