Hi, [ I sent this mail two months ago but there was no feedback and it's still buggy in 5.0.91. ]
The command ``install -D file /tmp/into/this/directory/'' says: install: cannot create regular file `/tmp/into/this/directory/': Is a directory IMHO this is incorrect, I'd expect it to create this directory and install the file into it with its original name (just as if I manually created this directory and didn't give -D option to ``install'', or repeated the filename in the last argument). coreutils 5.0, linux kernel 2.4.21 bye, Egmont _______________________________________________ Bug-coreutils mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-coreutils
