I ran the tests on my SunOS 5.5.1 host, and they all succeeded. I used GCC 3.2.3 and GNU make, and ran the test on a local file system. Sun C 4.2 supported "long long" but Google reports an ancient MySQL bug report <http://www.geocrawler.com/mail/msg.php3?msg_id=47947> that claims that "-Xc -D__EXTENSIONS__" breaks "long long" on Sun C 4.2, so perhaps that's what did him in. It would be interesting to know his config.h, config.log, and config.status. _______________________________________________ Bug-coreutils mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-coreutils
